Smart Pennies Savings Clubs

Smart Money Cymru is committed to educating children about the importance of developing good savings habits from a young age. One of the ways we do this is by working with local schools to support them in running their own school savings club.

Our Smart Pennies savings clubs are run by pupils at the school with support from either volunteers or staff from the school, providing them with unique learning opportunities to develop skills in money management, cash handling and an understanding of how finance and savings work. Pupils will be encouraged to support younger Smart Pennies account holders too.
